Roses and runners of all levels lined out for
the Rose of Tralee International 10k today.
The atmosphere was fantastic as the runners made their way through the town, from the start at the Wetlands to the finish in Denny Street.
Congratulations to all who entered and finished the race.
The first woman home was Michelle FINN (216), with a time of 00:37:48
Second was Niamh O SULLIVAN (619) in 00:38:04
Third was Annameria COSTELLOE (114) who made it home in 00:38:50
First home in the Rose 10k was Mark HANRAHAN (277) in a time of 00:31:29
Second was Michael HARTY (293) who crossed the line in 00:32:42
Third was Donal O'CALLAGHAN (630) in time of 00:34:56

The Rose of Tralee International 10k will take place on Sunday 17th August 2014, through the streets of Tralee, combining a fantastic route with the atmosphere of the Rose of Tralee International Festival. This race is limited to 1,000 runners .
The local community has taken the event to heart - it’s already known as The People’s Marathon.
Runners love it too: Irish Runner Magazine described it as “a race organised by runners for runners” - and one that “ranks up there with the best”.

The Kerry’s Eye Tralee International Marathon is a genuine, grass-roots community event, where runners of all levels - from elite athletes to first-timers - take on one of the most scenic routes in all of Ireland.

events debuted in 2013 and attracted almost 1,500
participants from all over the world.
The Tralee 100K Ultra Marathon
The Tralee 100K Ultra Marathon will take place on the 2nd August 2014. The route will be on the beautiful roads of North Kerry, taking in scenic areas such as Kerryhead, Ballyheigue, Causeway, Ardfert, and Fenit.
Next comes the Valentine’s Weekend 10-mile Race, on February 15th, 2014. This will be run over a section of the full and half-marathon route .
