The Tralee 100K Ultra Marathon
The Tralee 100K Ultra Marathon will take place on the 2nd August 2014. The route will be on the beautiful roads of North Kerry, taking in scenic areas such as Kerryhead, Ballyheigue, Causeway, Ardfert, and Fenit.
The Rose of Tralee International 10k will take place on Sunday 17th August 2013, through the streets of Tralee, combining a fantastic route with the atmosphere of the Rose of Tralee International Festival. This race is limited to 1,000 runners .
Next comes the Valentine’s Weekend 10-mile Race, on February 15th, 2014. This will be run over a section of the full and half-marathon route .
The Kerry’s Eye Tralee International Marathon is a genuine, grass-roots community event, where runners of all levels - from elite athletes to first-timers - take on one of the most scenic routes in all of Ireland.
Staged over St Patrick’s weekend
in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland,
the full- and half-marathon
events debuted in 2013 and
attracted almost 1,500
participants from all over the world.
The local community has taken the event to heart - it’s already known as The People’s Marathon.
Runners love it too: Irish Runner Magazine described it as “a race organised by runners for runners” - and one that “ranks up there with the best”.
Pride, passion and community - it’s what the Kerry’s Eye Tralee International Marathon is all about.
