What is the Rose of Tralee 10k?
As part of the Festival of Kerry, the popular Rose 10k is attended by former Roses, Escorts, their families and a few past Hosts of the event.
Starting at the Wetlands Centre, join these and many more as the weave through the Lakes, Canals and Streets of Tralee finishing in town centre to music, cheers and merriment.
When is the event taking place?
The event takes place on Sunday 18th August 2019. Starting at 11am

The online entry fee is €30.00 this does not include an online booking fee of €2.50

Where do I get my race number?
Race number collection is from The Ashe Hotel Maine Street Tralee, on Saturday 17th from 10.30am to 8pm and from 8.30am to 10am on Sunday 18th
You will collect your T-shirt here also. T-shirts will be handed out on a first come first served basis.
What does my entry fee to Tralee Marathon include?
Your fee covers the following:
Glass Trophies for Top 3 male and female winners
Fruit and light refreshments after the event
Water along the route
What are your Rules?
The race will be conducted in accordance with the rules set out by Athletics Ireland.
Competitors must be over 18 years on the day of the race to enter.
No dogs/pets, cycles, roller blades, prams/ buggies, skate-boards or non-registered persons will be allowed to accompany participants in the race
What is the Cancellation Policy?
It is our standard policy once we receive payment and accept your entry; fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What is the route?
The 10k route will start at the Tralee Bay Wetlands taking in a lap of the Wetlands.
It continues towards Dan Spring Road, down to the Ballymullen roundabout and up the River Lee Walk at the back of The Rose Hotel. Runners will exit the River Walk and head for the Canal and the Lock Gates,
At the Lock Gates water station, runners will head to town passing Lohercannon, Ashgrove, Kerin’s Park, Knockmoyle and down past the Bon Secours Hospital, through the roundabout and to the slip road by the back of the Tralee Garda Station Runners then turn up Rock Street passing The Brouge Inn and turn right at the 2nd traffic lights, onto Maine Street , passing Radio Kerry and past the Ashe Hotel exiting on to Ashe Street, turn right down past The Courthouse and Credit Union, crossing over to Denny Street and finish at the end of Denny Street.

Where is the Race Start and Finish Line?
The start line is located at Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre on the south side of the town, and the finish line is located at the end of Denny Street.
Is there a bag drop area?
The bag drop area is at The Ashe Hotel this area will open from 8.30am and will be closed at 1pm. All personal belongings must be collected by this time.
Is the race being timed?
As for all of our races, Ronan and his professional team at Myrunresults.ie are doing the timing again this year
How is the race signposted?
There is Directional Signs and Km Markers along the route. There is also a map on Line and at number collection
Are there Water stations/First Aid?
Yes, there is water station at the Lock Gates at end of the canal walk as well as water at the finish line
First Aid facilities at the finish line with first aid along the route
Is there parking at the start and finish line?
There ARE NO PARKING facilities at the start & finish lines the course. Use the Brandon Car Park or any of the parking structures in town
Are there prizes?
Along with your bespoke medal and T-shirt a commemorative Glass Trophy will go to the top Three Men and women across the line.
Commemorative trophies will go to the Male and Female winners of the over 40, 50, 60 age groups
